MultiCuber 999 is the latest in a series of LEGO MINDSTORMS robots that can solve Rubik's Cube style puzzles that are larger than the regular 3x3x3 cube.
This robot appeared for the first time in public at LEGO World 2014 in Copenhagen solving a 9x9x9 cube alongside MindCub3r and CubeStormer 3.
MultiCuber 999 incorporates 2 EV3 intelligent bricks and 8 motors to manipulate the heavy cube relatively quickly. It can solve the 9x9x9 cube in about 33 minutes which is faster than its predecessor, MultCuber 777 could solve the 7x7x7 V-CUBE 7.
